This is my site devoted to my favorite band, The Cure. They
are one of the most influential bands in existence not only because of their
talented music, but because of their passion behind the music they create.
Unlike most bands, they have varied from many different genres of music and
have produced some of the best music ever in each following. The myth that
they are merely a "goth band" is untrue, as one form or another
of their music attracts all people; let it be their dark gothic music, their
happy pop-rock that attracted many new fans, or their simple rock they started
out with over twenty years ago in 1978. Cure fans are said to be some of the
most devoted to any band which I agree with, and since I can't speak for all
fans, I can only speak for myself as to why I like them. The band draws me
into their world because of their poetic lyrics, varied forms of music, and
kindness towards their fans. The Cure's lyrics are perfect for any mood we
all experience in this world, let it be complete sorrow, utter hatred, or
pure bliss. This is my tribute to a band that will forever be essential to
my musical desires.
